Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

Greenville First Steps is excited to launch a pilot of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Greenville County. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is an early literacy program that mails FREE age-appropriate books each month to registered children from birth to age five. In Greenville County, children in 29690, 29611, and 29669 can now sign for Imagination Library. Registration is available at www.ImaginationLibrary.com.

At this time, we currently have funding for these three zip codes only but plan to expand as we secure additional funding. Sign up to receive our newsletter to hear when we launch additional zip codes.

If your child:

  • is under 5 years old AND
  • lives in Greenville County AND
  • lives in 29690, 29611, OR 29669

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM DOLLY PARTON’S IMAGINATION LIBRARY?

  • A brand new, carefully selected book will be mailed directly to your child each month until their 5th birthday
  • You can expect your first book to arrive 8-10 weeks after registration
  • The first book all children receive is Dolly’s favorite: The Little Engine That Could
  • Children receive their last book, Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!, the month of their 5th birthday, when the program ends
