To support this work, donations made through Greenville First Steps are directed to the Early Childhood Fund at the Community Foundation of Greenville.
The Early Childhood Fund helps support initiatives that give young children the foundation they need to learn, grow, and succeed, including:
- Early Literacy - Programs such as Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Reach Out and Read, and the Greenville First Steps Book Bank help put books and early literacy resources into the hands of young children and families.
- Parenting Support - Programs such as HIPPY, Nurse Family Partnership, and Triple P give parents practical tools, resources, and support to help their children thrive.
- Access to Quality Childcare - Investments help strengthen access to quality early care and education for children and families throughout Greenville County.
